Higher Education Scholarships
The rich perspective and experience City Year alumni bring to their educational experience is valued by graduate and undergraduate schools across the country. Our give a year Partners are colleges and universities that provide partial or full tuition scholarships to City Year alumni.
There are scholarships that match a multitude of education and career interests, ranging from a Master's of Education to an MBA to a variety of Bachelor's degree programs.

Segal Education Award Augmentation
Our alumni can apply the $5,550* Segal AmeriCorps Education Award toward a college degree, graduate school, or existing or future qualified student loans.
Dozens of colleges and universities across the country augment the AmeriCorps Segal Education Award in some way, including waived registration fees, course credits or service scholarships.

Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions Discounts
Many undergraduate and graduate school programs require various exams to be considered for entrance. City Year alumni, have access to discounts off various Kaplan test prep resources for college (10%) and graduate school (15%).
