give a year. change the world.
On Monday, January 21, 2013, volunteers will join City Year’s 2,000 corps members at locations across the United States to participate in a day of service to commemorate the civil rights movement and honor the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
City Year celebrates Dr. King's birthday as a "day ON, not a day off” by honoring his legacy through service projects such as painting murals, restoring park areas, landscaping community spaces and leading educational activities for children.
