City Year Launches for Another Year [NECN]

Saturday is a very special day for members of City Year, a group of dedicated adults from around the country who are helping to improve the community.The Opening Day ceremonies for City Year, a branch of the AmeriCorps, was held at the Condon Elementary School in South Boston. The program started in Boston 26 years ago and today there are 27,000 AmeriCorps members in 25 U.S. cities.
