Maria Cordero '13 spoke about how her path of service led her to teach science at Irving Middle School, where she served her corps year.

Cate Reynolds '12,'13 noted how social justice and the idea of the beloved community played a role in her service and helped shape her career.

Mayor Martin J. Walsh's Chief of Education, Rahn Dorsey '90, spoke on his commitment to educational equity in Boston.

Boston social justice legend Hubie Jones: "We are called to change the corrosive discourse in our country. Enough is enough."

Jeff Lafata '00,'01 took home a Comcast | NBCUniversal Leadership Award and spoke on his work with Empowering People for Inclusive Communities (EPIC): "Young people with disabilities don't need to be served. They are leaders who can serve."

Stephen Spaloss '91, City Year Regional Vice President, celebrated 25 years of leadership with City Year with his two young sons.

Senior AmeriCorps member Andrew Dwyer joined the CY Players in a spirited performance at the Summer Academy talent show.
