State Commission 

Designated by Executive Order of the Governor of Texas, OneStar Foundation works on behalf of the State of Texas to strengthen the capacity of local communities to address their most pressing needs. OneStar promotes service and volunteerism, forges effective public and private partnerships, and works to increase the performance of non-profit organizations. 

School Service Partners 

City Year San Antonio partners with the San Antonio Independent School District and Northeast Independent School District, to provide essential programs that contribute to positive, healthy youth development and improve the academic achievement of low-income, high need students who are at risk of failure. City Year corps members tutor, mentor and direct after-school programs for students grades 3 – 10.
