Corps Members Explore the Power of Generative AI on Advancing Education Equity
This summer, City Year AmeriCorps Members (ACMs) in San Jose/East Palo Alto will begin working with ClassGenius to understand Generative AI’s potential for real impact on learning and education equity. ClassGenuis is an AI-powered education technology tool that aims to democratize access to quality education. Through a series of professional development training sessions, ACMs will learn how to use these tools to accelerate and amplify the impact of their work with students in the classroom.
Luke Hostetter, Executive Director of City Year San Jose/Silicon Valley notes, “We owe it to our communities and to our City Year team of ACMs to be a part of the wave of early adopters who embrace new technologies and AI. City Year San Jose/Silicon Valley wants to be at the forefront of innovation and will lean into this partnership to attract new talent and equip the next generation of educators with the tools they need to support a diverse population of students.”
Stay tuned as we explore the power and potential of this technology and strive to help our education partners and students thrive!
