Annual Luncheon: Celebrating a Decade of Student Success

This year’s City Year Tulsa Annual Luncheon is co-chaired by Kian Kamas and Jennifer Hankins. On April 2, 2024, Tulsa will gather to honor accomplishments of women in education at the Cox Business Center. Guests will have unique opportunities to engage with City Year AmeriCorps members and honor this year’s Champion of Student Success: Kuma Roberts.

City Year Tulsa places young adult AmeriCorps members who commit to serve for a year of full-time service in one of our partner schools. During their time, they work to create equitable education environments in schools with the most growth opportunity. Each AmeriCorps member provides individualized academic and behavior supports to students as well as whole school events at their school. City Year AmeriCorps members are in schools all day, every day, providing students with skills and mindset tools they need to thrive in school and in life.
